SurfControl SuperScout Content Filtering Bypass Vulnerability

SurfControl SuperScout is an internet access control application which filters out websites based upon categorization such as Adult and Gambling. A user may bypass this mechanism simply by appending a "." to the end of the URL, thus allowing the user to view websites which may contain inappropriate material according to the policies set out by an administrator.
