Wireshark 'epan/dissectors/packet-dof.c' Heap Buffer Overflow Vulnerability
Wireshark is prone to a heap-based buffer-overflow vulnerability because they fail to perform adequate boundary-checks on user-supplied input.
An attacker can exploit this issue to cause denial-of-service conditions. Due to the nature of this issue, arbitrary code execution may be possible but this has not been confirmed.
Wireshark 2.0.0 through 2.2.6 are vulnerable.
