QID 150501: WordPress Download Manager Plugin: Authenticated SQL Injection to Reflected XSS Vulnerability (CVE-2021-25069)

WordPress Download Manager is a Files / Documents Management Plugin to manage, track and control file downloads from your WordPress Site.

The plugin does not sanitise and escape the package_ids parameter before using it in a SQL statement, leading to a SQL injection, which can also be exploited to cause a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting issue.

Affected Versions:
WordPress Download Manager plugin before 3.2.34

This QID sends a HTTP GET request and checks for vulnerable version of WordPress plugin running on the target application.

Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of the interface or allow the attacker to access sensitive, browser-based information.
