QID 150518: phpMyAdmin Information Exposure Vulnerability (CVE-2022-0813)

phpMyAdmin is a free and open source tool written in PHP for managing and administering databases such as the MySQL and MariaDB application systems.

In affected versions of phpMyadmin, an attacker can retrieve potentially sensitive information by creating invalid requests. This affects the lang parameter, the pma_parameter, and the cookie section.

Affected Versions:
phpMyAdmin prior to 5.1.3

QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated):
This QID sends a HTTP GET request to "doc/html/index.html" and determines the vulnerable version of phpMyAdmin running on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an unauthorized attacker to gain Sensitive Information.
