QID 150552: WordPress Download Manager Plugin: Reflected Cross-Site Scripting Vulnerability (CVE-2022-2168)

WordPress Download Manager is a Files / Documents Management Plugin to manage, track and control file downloads from your WordPress Site.

The plugin does not escape a generated URL before outputting it back in an attribute of the history dashboard, leading to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting

Affected Versions:
WordPress Download Manager plugin before 3.2.44

QID Detection Logic:
This QID sends a HTTP GET request and checks for vulnerable version of WordPress plugin running on the target application.

Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of the interface or allow the attacker to access sensitive, browser-based information.
