QID 150629: WordPress Ninja Forms Plugin: Unauthenticated PHP Object Injection Vulnerability
Ninja Forms is a popular WordPress plugin designed to enhance WordPress sites with easily customizable forms.
The plugin does not validate merge tags provided in the request, which could allow unauthenticated attackers to call any static method present in the blog. One from the plugin in particular could allow for PHP Object Injection when a suitable gadget is also present on the blog.
Affected Versions:
Ninja Forms prior to version 3.6.11
QID Detection Logic:
This QID sends a HTTP GET request and checks for vulnerable version of WordPress plugin running on the target application.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Solution
