QID 150655: phpMyAdmin Cross Site Scripting (XSS) Vulnerability (CVE-2023-25727)

phpMyAdmin is a free and open source tool written in PHP for managing and administering databases such as the MySQL and MariaDB application systems.

In affected versions of phpMyadmin, an authenticated user can trigger XSS by uploading a crafted .sql file through the drag-and-drop interface.

Affected Versions:
phpMyAdmin versions prior to 4.9.11
phpMyAdmin versions prior to 5.1.2

QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated):
This QID sends a HTTP GET request and determines the vulnerable version of phpMyAdmin running on the target system.

Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of the interface or allow the attacker to access sensitive, browser-based information.
