The plugin does not sanitize and escape the IP address retrieved from headers such as X-Forwarded-For when the "Site Connection" settings is set to "From behind a reversy proxy", which could allow unauthenticated attackers to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
Affected versions:
Limit Login Attempts plugin prior to 1.7.2
QID Detection Logic :
This QID sends an HTTP GET request and retrieves a vulnerable version of a plugin running on the target application.
Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript code in the context of the interface or allow the attacker to access sensitive, browser-based information.
