QID 150717: WordPress Booster for Woocommerce Plugin: Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability (CVE-2023-4945)

Booster for WooCommerce is an addon plugin for WooCommerce designed to enhance its functionality through the use of various modules that site owners can enable and disable at any point.

The Booster for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via multiple shortcodes due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. Affected Versions:
The Booster for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 7.1.1

QID Detection Logic:
This QID sends a HTTP GET request and checks for vulnerable version of WordPress plugin running on the target application.

Successful exploitation would lead attackers to inject HTML or JavaScript via a cross-site scripting, which can help the attacker carry out further attacks and obtain sensitive information.
