QID 150748: Microsoft Exchange Server: Unauthenticated Multiple Server-Side Request Forgery Vulnerabilities (0day)

Microsoft Exchange Server is a mail server and calendaring server developed by Microsoft. It runs exclusively on Windows Server operating systems.

Microsoft Exchange server is vulnerable to an authenticated SSRF vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the 'CreateAttachmentFromUri', 'DownloadDataFromUri' and 'DownloadDataFromOfficeMarketPlace' methods. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a URI prior to accessing resources.

Affected Versions:
The vulnerability affects all versions of Microsoft Exchange Server.

QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated):
This QID sends a HTTP GET request and checks the response headers to confirm if the host is running vulnerable version of Microsoft Exchange Server.

An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to disclose information in the context of the Exchange server.
