QID 150805: Apache Tomcat Information Disclosure Vulnerability (CVE-2024-21733)

Apache Tomcat is an open source web server and servlet container developed by the Apache Software Foundation.

In affected versions of Apache Tomcat, Incomplete POST requests triggered an error response that could contain data from a previous request from another user.

Affected Versions:
Apache Tomcat 8.5.7 to 8.5.63
Apache Tomcat 9.0.0-M11 to 9.0.43

QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated):
This QID sends a HTTP GET request to a invalid URL and based on the response confirms the vulnerable instance of Apache Tomcat running on the host.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could result in revealing sensitive information to an unauthorized user.
