QID 20382: IBM DB2 Information Disclosure Vulnerability (7066501)

IBM Db2 is vulnerable to an information disclosure vulnerability due to the consumed GSKit library. The fix for this issue was already published in an earlier bulletin. If you have already applied the appropriate Db2 special build or installed GSKit version 8.0.55.31, which contains the fix, then no further action is required.

Affected Versions:
IBM DB2 10.5 prior to special build for 10.5 FP11
IBM DB2 11.1 prior to special build for version V11.1.4 FP7
IBM DB2 11.5 prior to special build version V11.5.7
IBM DB2 11.5 prior to special build version V11.5.8

Note: This QID works based on database authentication and does not checks for the specific linux operation system.

QID Detection Logic:
Authenticated (DB2):
This QID queries the DB2 server to get the server version and fix pack level and checks to see if it's vulnerable.

Authenticated (Windows):
This QID checks for vulnerable versions of DB2 on windows OS

Attacker could exploit this vulnerability to obtain sensitive information.
