QID 20392: IBM DB2 Denial of Service (DoS) Vulnerability (7087218)

IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes Db2 Connect Server) is vulnerable to a denial of service through a specially crafted federated query on specific federation objects.

Affected Versions:
IBM Db2 versions from 11.1.4.x prior to 11.1.4.7
IBM Db2 versions from 11.5.x prior to 11.5.8
NOTE: This QID works based on database authentication and does not checks for the specific linux operation system.

QID Detection Logic:
Authenticated (DB2):
This QID queries the DB2 server to get the server version and fix pack level and checks to see if it's vulnerable.

Authenticated (Windows):
This QID checks for vulnerable versions of DB2 on windows OS

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker to carry out Denial of Service (DoS) and make target inaccessible for the targeted user.
