A vulnerability in the CLI of Cisco FXOS Software could allow an authenticated, local attacker to inject arbitrary commands that are executed with root privileges.

Cisco FXOS Software when running on the following platforms:
Firepower 1000 Series Appliances
Firepower 2100 Series Appliances
Note: Support only for ASA Software. Firepower 1000 Series and 2100 Series appliances use Cisco FXOS Software as an underlying operating system, which is included in Cisco ASA Software unified image bundles.

QID Detection Logic (Authenticated):
The check matches Cisco ASA OS version retrieved via Unix Auth using "version" command.

A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands on the underlying operating system with root privileges.
