A vulnerability in the Internet Key Exchange Version 2 (IKEv2) support for the AutoReconnect feature of Cisco IOS Software and
Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to exhaust the free IP addresses from the assigned local pool.

Affected Products
Cisco devices if they are running a vulnerable release of Cisco IOS or IOS XE Software and
have the IKEv2 AutoReconnect feature enabled. Note: The IKEv2 AutoReconnect feature is not enabled by default.

The check matches Cisco IOS XE version retrieved via Unix Auth using "show version" command.
QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated):
The check matches Cisco IOS XE version retrieved via SNMP or TCP/IP Fingerprint or NTP or Telnet.

A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust the IP addresses from the assigned local pool, which prevents users from logging in and leads to a denial of service (DoS) condition.
