A vulnerability in the IPv6 DHCP (DHCPv6) client module of Cisco IOS Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device.

This vulnerability affects those devices that are having at least one interface with both IPv6 enabled and the DHCPv6 client feature enabled.

The check matches Cisco IOS version retrieved via Unix Auth using "show version" command.
QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated):
The check matches Cisco IOS version retrieved via SNMP or TCP/IP Fingerprint or NTP or Telnet.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition.
