A vulnerability in the Locator ID Separation Protocol (LISP) feature of Cisco IOS Software and Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload.

This vulnerability affects Cisco devices if they are running a vulnerable release of Cisco IOS or IOS XE Software, they have the LISP feature enabled, and they are configured with one of the following:
Ingress/egress tunnel router
Map server
Map resolver

The check matches Cisco IOS XE version retrieved via Unix Auth using "show version" command.
QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated):
The check matches Cisco IOS XE version retrieved via SNMP or TCP/IP Fingerprint or NTP or Telnet.
A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
