Cisco IOS Software and have either port security or device classifier enabled: Catalyst 6500 Series Switches with Supervisor Engine 2T or 6T
Catalyst 6800 Series Switches with Supervisor Engine 2T or 6T

The check matches Cisco IOS version retrieved via Unix Auth using "show version" command.
QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated):
The check matches Cisco IOS version retrieved via SNMP or TCP/IP Fingerprint or NTP or Telnet.

A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition.
