QID 375553: Adobe Animate arbitrary code execution vulnerability (APSB21-35)

Adobe has released an update for Adobe Animate that resolves arbitrary code execution. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.

Affected versions:
Adobe Animate 21.0.5 and earlier versions. QID detection logic:
Qid checks for file Animate.exe in Windows HKLM.

On successful exploitation an attacker could exploit arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.

CVSS V2 rated as Critical - 9.7 severity.

Solution

Vendor Adove has realesed the patch to fix this vulnerability. Refer to APSB21-35
