QID 375631: SolarWinds Orion NPM Arbitrary Code Execution Vulnerability

SolarWinds Orion Platform is used to monitor, visualize, and analyze the performance of networks, applications, systems, and databases on-premises, in a hybrid environment, or in the cloud.

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor.
The specific flaw exists within the SolarWinds.Serialization library. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, which can result in deserialization of untrusted data.

Affected Versions:
SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor 2020.2.1 through 2020.2.4
