Python Imaging Library is a free and open-source additional library for the Python programming language that adds support for opening, manipulating, and saving many different image file formats. Pillow is the friendly PIL fork by Alex Clark and Contributors. The Python Imaging Library adds image processing capabilities to your Python interpreter.

The package pillow from 5.2.0 and before 8.3.2 are vulnerable to Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) via the getrgb function.

Affected Versions:
Pillow versions since 5.2.0 and prior to 8.3.2
