QID 377820: IBM WebSphere Application Server server-side request forgery (6824179)

IBM WebSphere Application Server is vulnerable to server-side request forgery (SSRF). By sending a specially crafted request, an attacker with local network access could exploit this vulnerability to obtain sensitive data.

  • Solution
    Upgrade to minimal fix pack levels as required by interim fix and then apply Interim Fix PH46816 or Apply Fix Pack 9.0.5.14 or later for 9.0 versions, 8.5.5.23 or later for 8.5 versions, 8.0.0.15 or later for 8.0 versions and 7.0.0.45 or later for 7.0 versions.
