TorGuard VPN v4.8

QID Detection Logic (Authenticated):
This QID checks for vulnerable version of TorGuard VPN via Registry for Windows, and via Package Manager for Linux, MacOS

It allows an attacker to dump sensitive information, such as credentials and information about the server, without admin privileges.

CVSS V3 rated as High - 7.5 severity.

CVSS V2 rated as High - 7.8 severity.

Solution

Customers are advised to upgrade to latest version of Torguard VPN to remediate these vulnerabilities.
