QID 378695: PaperCut NG/MF Denial of Service (DoS) Vulnerability

PaperCut NG and MF is a comprehensive print management system designed to seamlessly monitor and control your resources with easy to use administrative and user tools that can be securely accessed from anywhere on the network though a web browser.

Following on from our previous 22.1.1 security hardening release PaperCut NG and PaperCut MF 22.1.3 contains patches to address vulnerabilities identified through our security uplift program which includes internal pen testing code audits as well as engagement with industry leading partners in the infosec community. We recommend all customers plan an upgrade to this release.

Affected Versions:
PaperCut NG/MF version 22.0.12 and prior

This QID checks for vulnerable version of PaperCut NG/MF by checking the version from registry.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to upload arbitrary files to the PaperCut NG hosts file storage
