HCL BigFix Platform has addressed multiple security vulnerabilities around curl (CVE-2023-38545) and Cross Site Scripting (CVE-2023-37531,CVE-2023-37530,CVE-2023-37529,CVE-2023-37527,CVE-2024-23552,CVE-2024-23553,CVE-2023-37528).

BigFix Platform version 11.0.0
BigFix Platform 10.0 prior to 10.0.11
BigFix Platform 9.5 prior to 9.5.24

QID Detection Logic (Authenticated):
This checks for vulnerable version of BigFix platform using file BESAdmin.exe.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow an attacker to use Cross Site Scripting, through which attacker to get unauthorized access of sensitive information, compromising the integrity and security of web applications.

CVSS V3 rated as Critical - 9.8 severity.

CVSS V2 rated as High - 6.9 severity.
