ConnectWise Control, previously Screenconnect, is a self-hosted remote desktop software application.

ConnectWise ScreenConnect is vulnerable to multiple security vulnerabilities. The vulnerabilities were not assigned a CVE as of February 20, 2024.

Affected Versions:
ScreenConnect 23.9.7 and prior

QID Detection Logic (Authenticated)
This QID checks for vulnerable version of ConnectWise ScreenConnect by checking the version of ScreenConnect.WindowsClient.exe. This also checks for the vulnerable version of ScreenConnect via the Uninstall Registry Keys.

QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated)
This QID detects vulnerable versions of ConnectWise ScreenConnect based on the Server: tag.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely or directly impact confidential data leading to complete system compromise.
