QID 38887: Star POS Printer NIC Card Default Credentials Enabled

This is an embedded network interface card (printer server) for STAR POS printers.

QID Detection Logic:
This QID requests STAR POS printers FTP session with default credentials (root:public)

Remote attacker could access Star Printer using default credentials to perform malicious activities.

Solution

Customers are advised not to use default credentials.
