QID 580510: Integer Field Value Matches Schema

In this scenario integer fields are tested. Integer fields are updated with decimal values. These fields are sent to the server for the endpoint(s) being tested. The expectation is that APIs will reject the request as invalid, rather than rounding it. Based on the response received from the server on the request with decimal values in place of integers it is determined that the integer fields do not allow decimal values. The integer type defined in the swagger file are enforced successfully.

Enforcing the types of values defined on the integer field in swagger file will help provide clarity to the API users and avoid abuse of the API by hackers.Enforcing types help in mitigating resource exhaustion attacks.
