QID 580541: Null Values Restriction Mismatch With Schema

In this scenario all fields are tested. Null values for all fields are sent to the server for the endpoint being tested.The expectation is that APIs will reject the request as invalid for required fields. Based on the analysis of response received for the request with null values it is observed that response code is not expected. The response code does not match the response documented in the swagger file schema.

Enforcing valid value for required field based on limits defined in swagger file will help provide clarity to the API users and avoid abuse of the API by hackers.

Solution

Please update the API endpoint response to match the swagger schema definition or update the schema to match the server response.
