QID 591362: Eaton xComfort ECI authentication bypass Vulnerability (ETN-VA-2017-1001)

xComfort Ethernet Communication Interface (ECI): All firmware versions V01.07 and below

QID Detection Logic:
This QID checks for the Vulnerable version of Eaton xComfort ECI using passive scanning.

An attacker could potentially access (read) backup file and system logs without being authenticated. If sensitive information is present in the logs (e.g.: plaintext credentials), the malicious user can then use it to further compromise the system. There is no known evidence that this vulnerability has been exploited in a production environment.
