QID 671009: EulerOS Security Update for NetworkManager (EulerOS-SA-2021-2665)

NetworkManager is a system service that manages network interfaces and connections based on user or automatic configuration. It supports Ethernet, Bridge, Bond, VLAN, Team, InfiniBand, Wi-Fi, mobile broadband (WWAN), PPPoE and other devices, and supports a variety of different VPN services. Security Fix(es): An exploitable denial of service vulnerability exists in systemd which does not fully implement RFC3203, as it does not support authentication of FORCERENEW packets. A specially crafted DHCP FORCERENEW packet can cause a system, running the DHCP client, to be vulnerable to a DHCP ACK spoofing attack. An attacker can forge a pair of FORCERENEW and DCHPACK packets to reconfigure the system with arbitrary network settings.(CVE-2020-13529)
Note: The preceding description block is extracted directly from the security advisory. Using automation, we have attempted to clean and format it as much as possible without introducing additional issues.

An arbitrary attacker may exploit this vulnerability to compromise the system.
