c-ares is a C library that performs DNS requests and name resolves asynchronously. c-ares is a fork of the library named 'ares', written by Greg Hudson at MIT. Security Fix(es): Missing input validation of host names returned by Domain Name Servers in the c-ares library can lead to output of wrong hostnames (leading to Domain Hijacking).(CVE-2021-3672)
