a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the interface.

Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning releases earlier than Release 12.6 SU3(1).

It checks for vulnerable version of Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning (PCP) Software by sending a GET request and matching the vulnerable version in response to the query.

A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the interface or access sensitive, browser-based information.
