QID 730389: DNN (DotNetNuke) Weak Encryption Algorithm Vulnerability

DotNetNuke (also referred to as DNN) is a web-based Content Management System (CMS). Its primary purpose is to reduce the cost of building and maintaining websites that experience frequent or significant changes in content. DNN empowers subject matter experts to directly edit websites in a user friendly manner.

Versions Affected:
DotNetNuke versions from 9.2 through 9.2.2

QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated): This QID checks for vulnerable DNN version by fetching version info from "/API/personaBar/ServerSummary/GetServerInfo" endpoint.

An attacker can possibly impersonate other users and even upload malicious code to the server and access to sensitive information.
