QID 730687: WordPress Plugin Waitlist Woocommerce Security Vulnerability

Waitlist for woocommerce plugin lets you track demand for out-of-stock items, ensuring your customers feel informed, and therefore more likely to buy.

This flaw made it possible for an attacker to update arbitrary site options on a vulnerable site, provided they could trick a site's administrator into performing an action, such as clicking on a link.

Affected Versions:
Waitlist Woocommerce versions prior to 2.5.2

QID Detection Logic(Unauthenticated): This unauthenticated detection depends on the BlindElephant engine to detect the vulnerable version of the Waitlist Woocommerce plugin.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow attackers to gain administrative access to affected sites.
