QID 730708: Zoho ManageEngine Remote Code Execution (RCE) Vulnerability

Multiple products of Zoho ManageEngine are affected by remote code execution vulnerability due to the usage of an outdated third party dependency, Apache Santuario.. (CVE-2022-47966)

Note: QID is kept potential because products are affected only when SAML SSO is/was enabled in the ManageEngine setup.

QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated):
This QID checks for vulnerable version of Zoho ManageEngine product by sending a GET request to multiple endpoints and extracting the version from response.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow remote attackers to execute code remotely.

CVSS V3 rated as Critical - 9.8 severity.

CVSS V2 rated as Critical - 10 severity.
