QID 730740: Oracle WebLogic Server Remote Code Execution (RCE) Vulnerability (CPUJAN2023)

This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via T3, IIOP to compromise Oracle WebLogic Server. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle WebLogic Server accessible data.

Affected Versions:
Supported Oracle WebLogic Server, version(s) 12.2.1.3.0, 12.2.1.4.0 and 14.1.1.0.0. Please note that versions prior to the mentioned versions are End Of Life and are known to be exploitable.

QID Detection Logic:
The QID sends a crafted payload to a weblogic server and checks if the weblogic server tries to send a LDAP request to localhost(127.0.0.1). A vulnerable Weblogic server will send a request to an LDAP address of attacker's choice.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may result in complete access to Oracle Weblogic.
