QID 731123: Ivanti Avalanche Directory Traversal Vulnerability

Wavelink Avalanche is a software solution that provides visibility and control of mobile devices and wireless infrastructure. It allows administrators to manage wireless peripherals like mobile printers and scanners.

Ivanti Avalanche 6.3.4.153 is vulnerable to a Directory Traversal vulnerability. Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the javax.faces.resource component.

QID Detection Logic (Unauthenticated):
This QID sends an HTTP GET request to the '/AvalancheWeb/faces/javax.faces.resource/web.xml?loc=../WEB-INF' and loads the web.xml file.

Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via the javax.faces.resource component.
