QID 731279: WordPress Plugin Wp-statistics Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Vulnerability

With WP Statistics you can know your website statistics without any need to send your users data anywhere. You can know how many people visit your personal or business website where theyre coming from what browsers and search engines they use and which of your contents, categories tags and users get more visits.

The WP Statistics plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the URL search parameter in all versions up to and including 14.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping.

Affected Versions:
WordPress Plugin Wp-statistics versions prior to 14.5.1

QID Detection Logic:
This unauthenticated detection depends on the BlindElephant engine to detect the vulnerable version of the Wp-statistics WordPress plugin.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page
