QID 91976: Microsoft Print 3D Remote Code Execution (RCE) Vulnerability for February 2023
Print 3D is an application through which users can quickly and easily prepare objects for 3D printing on their PC. With support for Wifi printers, users can 3D print from anywhere on their network.
Microsoft has released a security update to Print 3D Application to address a remote code execution vulnerability.
Affected Versions:
Print 3D Version prior to x.x.x.x
QID Detection Logic:
This QID gets the version of Print 3D Application by querying wmi class Win32_InstalledStoreProgram.
An attacker can perform a Remote Code Execution Vulnerability on a vulnerable version of Print 3D Application.
Solution
Customers are advised to install latest version of Application from Print 3D Application.
