Descriptionserver/TetherController.cpp in the tethering controller in netd, as distributed with Qualcomm Innovation Center (QuIC) Android contributions for MSM devices and other products, does not properly validate upstream interface names, which allows attackers to bypass intended access restrictions via a crafted application.
