Microsoft Windows 2000 Telnet Multiple Sessions DoS Vulnerability

A vulnerability exists in the way Windows 2000 handles specially crafted idle telnet sessions.

A remote client could connect to the telnet service and leave the connection idle without the host terminating the session. If numerous similar connections are made other legitimate clients will not be able to connect to the service.
