Novell NetStorage is prone to a heap-based buffer-overflow vulnerability.

An unauthenticated attacker can leverage this issue to execute arbitrary code within the context of the vulnerable application.

This issue affects NetStorage and the following:

- NetWare 6.5 Support Pack 8
- Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux Support Pack 1
- Open Enterprise Server 2 (OES 2) Linux Support Pack 2
