Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird CVE-2011-2982 Multiple Memory-Corruption Vulnerabilities

Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird are prone to multiple memory-corruption vulnerabilities because they fail to adequately validate user-supplied data.

Successful exploits may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the user running an affected application. Failed exploit attempts will result in a denial-of-service condition.

These issues affect versions prior to:

Firefox 3.6.20
Thunderbird 3.1.12
