Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird CVE-2011-2980 Remote Arbitrary Code Execution Vulnerability

Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird are prone to an arbitrary code-execution vulnerability.

The issue can be exploited to execute arbitrary code in the context of the affected application.

NOTE: This issue was previously discussed in BID 49166 (Mozilla Firefox/Thunderbird/SeaMonkey MFSA 2011-29 through -30 Multiple Vulnerabilities) but has been given its own record to better document it.

Attackers must trick a user into opening a file on a remote WebDAV or SMB share to exploit this issue.
