QID 20324: Oracle E-Business Suite Remote Code Execution (RCE) Vulnerability (CPUOCT2022)

Oracle E-Business Suite is one of Oracle Corp.'s major product lines. Also known as Oracle EBS, it is an integrated set of business applications for automating customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and supply chain management (SCM) processes within organizations.

Affected Products:
Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 - 12.2.11

NOTE:
we are using apps.ad_adop_session_patches and apps.fnd_product_groups tables to check version and patches so the scan user should have grant access for these tables

QID Detection Logic(Auth):
Authentication via Oracle Database:
This QID reviews the Oracle output from the tables name apps.ad_adop_session_patches and apps.fnd_product_groups for version and patch information.

Successfully exploiting of these vulnerabilities may allow an remote unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
